Smile-A-Mile

 

Smile-A-Mile’s mission is to provide hope, healing of the spirit and love for the whole family during the childhood cancer journey. Through year-round meaningful and educational programming, Smile-A-Mile helps those in Alabama who are affected by childhood cancer. They serve families with the motto, "We Fight With You," this ensures no family will fight this disease alone.

Tri Delta participates in Smile-A-Mile events such as their annual Spooktacular and Christmas Party. Epsilon Xi has worked with Smile-A-Mile to create days throughout the week where girls can get hands-on experience helping at Smile-A-Mile. We are fortunate enough to serve another philanthropy that is local to Birmingham.

• Hospital Outreach Programs that takes activites to children and families at Children's of Alabama.
• Camps and Retreats are offered to children and their families.
• Smile-A-Mile created a scholarship program in 1999 and since then, they have provided more than $1,000,000 in scholarships.
