About Tri Delta

Tri Delta was founded by women, for women, in 1888 at Boston University when our Founders bravely created a new organization that would “think more of a woman’s inner character than her outward appearance.” Their vision has grown into the dynamic women’s organization we know today.

Today, Tri Delta is a network of nearly 250,000 women, and we are committed to lifelong learning through educational initiatives, transformational programming and relevant personal and professional development.

From supporting Tri Delta’s Foundation—which empowers collegiate and alumnae members through transformational programs, scholarships and emergency financial support—to supporting the life-saving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and local children’s cancer charities, Tri Deltas are passionate about serving others.

About Our Chapter

Being a member of Tri Delta is more than being a member of a sorority, it is a family. Being a Tri Delta member means being fully known and fully loved by your greatest encouragers. Our sisterhood is built on the firm foundation of truth, self sacrifice, and friendship. We want to be a sisterhood marked by service to eachother and our community, steadfast friendship to one another, and having integrity in all we do. Our sisterhood is built on the perpetual bonds of friendship that truly last a lifetime. Our values that we hold closest to our hearts are “let us steadfastly love one another” and “kind alike to all”. This is who we are, and what we strive to become everyday. We believe fully in the powerful bonds that being a part of a sisterhood brings. Being able to live together, serve together, and lead together are what makes this sisterhood one of a kind!
